Young Italians of Florida

We promote family and community pride through the celebration of Italian food, culture, history, and music for a greater realization of our Italian heritage. Most of our members range in ages from 30's, 40's, and 50's. A great way to socialize and network with other paisans! We meet every second (sometimes 3rd) Saturday of the month, at various Italian restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area. We always encourage guests to join us at our events.

About Us

Young Italians of Florida: The Young Italians of Florida is a branch of the Sons of Italy, which was created in 1905. It was created with the mission of promoting family and community pride through the celebration of Italian food, culture, history and music, for a greater realization of our Italian heritage. Incorporating American pride and Italian heritage, we continue to carry on that tradition by our close involvement with the community. By encouraging the awareness of Italian culture in America, we keep alive the traditions of the land of our ancestors. A majority of the participants has some portion of Italian heritage, although all that are interested in the Italian culture are welcome. The age range is very diverse, ranging from 20’s through 50’s, making everyone involved able to contribute and take with them a piece of Italian heritage through either stories of their families or their own Italian cultural experiences.
