A night out at Gio's restaurant

Let's all get together for a night out at Gio's Italian restaurant.

When: October 23rd, 8PM

I've heard a lot of good things about this place, but have yet to try it.

Here are some reviews I found on the internet:

"This is a great surprise sitting in a strip mall on Dale Mabry. One of the chef's from Donatello is now cooking here and it shows! Awesome food, decent wine list and great service make Gio's a place not to be missed while in Tampa. For about half the price of Donatello with the same food and service. Enjoy!"

"Best authentic Italian I've had in Tampa; the staff is alive with friendliness, and are true Italian service and smiles. (they'll even walk you to your car with an umbrella if it's raining.)
With live piano in the quaint smallish dining area, you get the true feeling of being in a comfortable small Italian eatery."

"The Beef Carpaccio is to die for, and every single special and regular dish are top-notch - this is no americanized Italian eating, and is worth each and every penny."

Here is the address:
3621 W Waters Ave
Tampa, FL 33614

Optional - Afterwards, perhaps we can get a drink somewhere.

Hope you all can attend!

SACCO AND VANZETTI is an 80-minute-long documentary that tells the story of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, two Italian immigrant anarchists who were accused of a murder in 1920, and executed in Boston in 1927 after a notoriously prejudiced trial. It is the first major documentary film about this landmark story.

A quote from Nuccia Hinckley, owner of the Italian School of Tampa below:

This time it will be in a bigger scale as The Italian Club has opened its doors for us... so come dressed, eat well, bring a lot of friends and they will thank you because we will have tons of fun dancing.

Costume:
Ladies, you can wear an evening gown and dress it up with a mask or you can go as creative as you like! My mask will be a secret...
Men: be creative as you like but come dressed as well, there will be an award, just like last year for the Best Mask of 2010!

Prepare your costumes!
